Over the years I have traveled around the world to remote places including Nicaragua, Africa, Mexico, Ecuador, and the Seychelles. I have also tutored many private lessons and led various workshops in photography for art schools, clubs, and other organizations. In 2008 began combining these efforts and leading destination workshops designed for anyone who enjoys both travel and photography.

The workshops are custom designed trips structured to introduce small groups to some of the amazing, out-of-the-way places I've had the privilege of visiting. Some will feature natural wonders while other will explore exotic cultures in places not often visited by tourists. Accommodations will vary, but all will feature full support and logistics—so you can focus on making photographs. The format is all about hands-on education and intensive picture making and each tour will be tailored to the specific needs of the participants. Locations range from the United States' desert southwest and the surreal landscapes of Joshua Tree, CA, to Mexico's Copper Canyon and the adventurous railroad that runs through this dramatic canyon system that is four times the size of Arizona's Grand Canyon (see samples from my recent trip here).

The last tour was in May/June 2008 to the Copper Canyon region in northern Mexico.
